The Utrecht Psalter was made almost 1200 years ago in or near Reims (France). It contains 150 psalms and sixteen Biblical songs and is famous for its lively illustrations that were very innovative for those days. In 1716 it was donated to Utrecht University library where it has been kept ever since.
