Immaterieel erfgoed
Immaterieel erfgoed is erfgoed dat leeft, dat onderdeel uitmaakt van ons leven en dat we willen doorgeven aan latere generaties. Of het nu gaat om tradities, rituelen, zang, theater, dialecten of ambachten.
Uitkomsten
Nederland heeft in 2012 het Immaterieel Erfgoedverdrag van UNESCO geratificeerd. De eerste stap is nu het opstellen van een Nationale Inventaris. De coördinatie hiervan ligt bij het Centrum voor Volkscultuur en Immaterieel Erfgoed. Op basis van deze inventaris kan ons land nominaties voordragen voor de internationale Representatieve Lijst. Over opname op die lijst besluit een intergouvernementeel Comité van UNESCO-lidstaten.
